LOAD “MR ROBOT EXFILTRATI0N*”
Hello to everyone reading this and to any cats who walked on the keyboard and brought up this site.
We made another thing! It’s called Mr. Robot:1.51exfiltrati0n! It takes place in the Mr. Robot universe during the first season, between episodes 5 and 6. But it’s not a side story! It’s an adventure game you play entirely through the guise of texting, so you get to mess with people and ruin relationships and destroy some lives and help characters on the show perform the BIGGEST HACK OF ALL TIME and if any of that sounds interesting to you, you can buy it right now on your phone (as long as you have an Android or iOS device made after 2012).
How did this happen? Good question! Basically, Universal reached out after Oxenfree to see if we wanted to make a Mr. Robot mobile game and we jumped at the chance. And then Telltale hopped aboard to help us get the word out. Game development really is that easy!
The whole Oxenfree team made this, so if you liked that game at all, you’ll probably like this. There’s a dick joke in both is what I’m trying to say. SCNTFC even did the music and sound effects again! He’s so great.
It was fun to write in the Mr. Robot voice and I hope that fun comes through in the game. And if after reading all of this you don’t want to play it, I hope you still do something fun this week with your $2.99. You earned it!*
